We would like someone to join our tenant engagement coordinator on quality visits to other First Choice tenants homes in South Wales

With the help of Mirus we came up with the role of a Tenant Quality Checker! Someone who is a tenant themselves to go into homes and ask questions to make sure new tenants joining FCHA are happy with their homes.

What would you need to do?

  • Visit First Choice properties and give feedback.

  • Ask tenants how things are working out in their new home.

  • Ask tenants if there is anything that needs to be changed in their home.

  • Ask tenants if they were involved in the planning process of their new home.

  • Ask tenants how they feel in their new community.

  • Complete any mandatory training and additional training that will support you in your role. Must be willing to travel with Tenant Engagement Coordinator.

  • Provide opportunities for tenants to influence the way services are delivered and ensure that they are fully involved in decisions regarding their homes.

To put it simply...

You ask questions to new tenants

Three speech bubbles with 3 questions that you as the quality checker would ask tenants. "Are you happy with your home?" "Is there anything you want changed?" "How do you feel in your new community?"

You give feedback to us!

Once you've asked your questions to the tenants you will give us feedback on how to improve.

How often will I be working?

This role is when required. Your hours will be agreed between you and First Choice Housing Association when a quality check is required. Please note that this role is a six-month pilot scheme and is subject to review.

Hand holding £5 and £10 notes, a £15 gift voucher, and a blue Tempo logo on a white background.

How you will get paid?

You can get paid in 3 ways. It's your choice:

  1. You can get £15 per visit

  2. You can receive a £15 Love2Shop voucher

  3. You can get 2 Tempo Time credits that you can spend.
