Working alongside our new Tenant Advisory Group, we are proud to present our new Mission, Vision and Values to help guide FCHA, tenants and suppliers in the right direction to deliver the best homes and service possible!

We would like to thank the Tenant Advisory Group for all of their hard work when helping establish these Mission, Vision and Values. The Tenant Advisory Group was integral in ensuring that these new statements were easy to understand and were relevant to the tenants in our homes.



We will continue to keep you updated on the success of the Tenant Advisory Group as well as the projects that help us deliver homes that support independence and help people feel part of a community.

Laura has worked with people with learning disabilities for 13 years which includes supported living homes and day services.


In her free time, Laura loves making memories with her family and friends, walking her Frenchie at her local beach (Barry Island) and trying new food at restaurants. Her Favorite restaurant is Wagamama’s!

Laura will be helping tenants to engage and supporting their tenant experience at First Choice.


Get ready for some exciting events and activities that Laura will be organising to enable tenants to enjoy, meet new people and have a chance to speak to staff from First choice in person. She is looking forward to meeting you all!

A hate crime is a crime against someone because of: Mae trosedd casineb yn drosedd yn erbyn rhywun oherwydd:

someone with a learning disability

Their disability or learning difficulty

Their race or the colour of their skin

Their religion or beliefs

Almost any type of crime can be a hate crime.

Being different is not a crime

But if someone commits a crime against you because you are different, that is a crime.

People who have suffered a hate crime

People who have suffered a hate crime can feel upset, hurt, or confused.

They can get support to help them deal with the situation.

If no one stops hate crime, it can get worse and affect more people.

At First Choice, our housing officers are here to give support if you have been a victim of a hate crime.

Yn First Choice, mae ein swyddogion tai yma i rhoi cymorth os ydych wedi dioddef trosedd casineb.




The police will also have hate crime officers who will give you support.

Bydd gan yr heddlu hefyd swyddogion troseddau casineb a fydd yn rhoi cefnogaeth i chi.
