We are hiring a Development Officer to deliver First Choice’s approved Development Programme, from inception to completion including liaising with all partner agencies.

The association works closely with Local Authorities, NHS Trusts and a wide range of support providers. As an all-Wales association we are in a strong position to meet the demand for our services and to provide innovative solutions to local issues.
Development Officer Job Description
First Choice Housing Association is looking for a Development Officer to help deliver high quality, tenant focused services. The right person will be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to join our team, with strong values that match those of the organisation. You will have excellent communication and project management skills to assist with the delivery of our Development Programme of supported accommodation for vulnerable people throughout Wales.

To effectively deliver tendering and management of FCHA’s development contractor processes.
To assist in the delivery of the Company’s Strategic Objectives
To prepare social housing grant bids for local authorities for inclusion in their PDP's, to initiate the development of new projects, in conjunction with the Development Manager.
To liaise with the local authority commissioners, occupational therapists and relevant LA / Health professionals to obtain a scheme brief for identified tenants.

Work hours
Standard full time hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours including generous time off in lieu arrangements
Salary
SCP34 –SCP39 (£41,991 – £48,095)
